Freight Forwarder / Multimodal Operator

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder / Multimodal Operator to join our busy operations team.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for managing shipments from booking through to delivery, working closely with customers, carriers, overseas agents and suppliers to ensure freight moves efficiently across the globe.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing import and export shipments across air, sea and road freight.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers and overseas agents.
- Preparing and checking shipping documentation.
- Monitoring shipments and providing proactive updates to customers.
- Solving transport and operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensuring all files are completed accurately and invoiced promptly.
- Delivering the high level of customer service PSP Worldwide Logistics is known for.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working within freight forwarding.
- Knowledge of air, sea and road freight operations.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, proactive and team-focused attitude.
- Experience with customs procedures and customs entries would be an advantage but is not essential.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
