WeBuyAnyPhone.com is the UK's largest independent tech recycling business — we buy, refurbish and recycle mobile phones, tablets and wearable tech. We're looking for a Junior Repair Technician to join our Repair department and help keep that quality up, one device at a time.
Here's the thing — you don't need professional repair experience to be brilliant at this job.
If you're naturally hands-on, methodical, and the kind of person who takes something apart just to understand how it works, you already have a big part of what we need. We'll teach you Level 1 and Level 2 repair techniques from scratch. What we can't teach is patience when a repair isn't going to plan, and the discipline to slow down and get it right rather than rush and get it wrong.
What you'll actually be doing
- Carrying out Level 1 and Level 2 repairs across a wide range of devices and models
- Restoring devices to a sellable condition, in line with company and industry standards
- Polishing devices to improve their sellable grade
- Working in an organised, timely way to keep up with department demand
- Spotting and avoiding the small mistakes that can turn into big, costly problems
- Supporting the wider team and contributing to overall department performance

Bonus points (not essential) for...
- Experience working within the mobile phone, tech repair or wider electronics industry
- Any hands-on experience repairing phones, tablets or similar devices

This is a full-time, office-based role in Whiteley, Hampshire (near Solent Hotel). You'll need to be able to commute here every day.
