As a van-based technician covering London and the South East, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, learning how to install bird proofing systems and help protect commercial and residential properties from bird-related issues.
About the Role
As a Trainee Bird Proofing Technician, you will assist with the installation of a variety of bird proofing solutions, including:

Bird netting systems
-
Bird spikes
-
Post and wire systems
-
Other exclusion and deterrent measures
You'll gain hands-on experience working on a range of buildings and structures while learning safe working practices, including working at height and using specialist access equipment.
What You'll Be Doing

Assisting experienced technicians with the installation of bird proofing systems

Preparing work areas and ensuring sites are safe and ready for installation

Transporting and handling tools, equipment, and materials

Learning to identify bird activity, nesting locations, and access points

Recording completed work, materials used, and site observations

Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism

Following all health and safety procedures and company policies

Participating in training and development programmes to build your technical skills

Essential Requirements

Eligibility to work in the UK

DBS check will be carried out as part of the application process

Desirable

Full UK driving licence

Experience in construction, maintenance, roofing, pest control, or a similar hands-on environment
