Full job description

SEERS Medical is the UK's leading manufacturer of medical examination couches, treatment tables, patient trolleys, and ergonomic seating. We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and organised Logistics Co-ordinator to join our Logistics team.

Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will play a key role in coordinating export shipments while also supporting the UK Logistics team as required, including providing cover during periods of annual leave.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor the shared Logistics inbox and respond to customer enquiries, alongside managing a personal email inbox.
Generate packing lists and commercial invoices, ensuring they are sent promptly to customers and freight forwarders.
Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls professionally.
Obtain freight quotations for customer enquiries and live orders.
Arrange collections for export shipments.
Liaise with the Production team to provide customers with accurate delivery updates.
Produce weekly customer reports where required.
Coordinate container collections when necessary.
Provide support to the wider Logistics team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required

Essential

Proven experience in an outbound logistics role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Export logistics experience
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English Language at Grade 4 (C) or above.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

Sage 200 experience

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy environment. You should be confident communicating with customers, freight forwarders and internal departments, and be committed to delivering a high level of customer service.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, permanent position based fully onsite at our headquarters in Debenham, Suffolk.

Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Debenham. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship or relocation assistance for this role.

Salary from £29,500 p/a, dependent on experience.

Working hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday, based on a 37.5 hour week.
