Full job description

Location: Slough (SL3 0HQ) – Office-based only (no hybrid working)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (42.5 hours per week)
Lunch: 30-minute paid break
Pay: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £28,730 per annum)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Compliance & HR Administrator to join our team in a fast-paced office environment. This is a fully office-based role where you will play a key part in supporting compliance and HR functions, ensuring all processes, systems, and documentation are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Collate, manage, and maintain the compliance calendar
Upload, organise, and maintain compliance and HR documentation
Accurately update internal systems and records
Draft, review, and update company policies and procedures
Conduct thorough 5-year pre-employment checks
Ensure compliance deadlines are met and records are audit-ready
Confidently handle incoming calls and respond to general enquiries
Support wider HR administrative duties
Work efficiently within an ad hoc, fast-paced environment

About You

Fully confident communicating over the phone
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Able to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Professional and discreet when handling sensitive information
Previous experience in HR, compliance, or administration is desirable
