Full job description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive office manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our office. Knowledge of a trade background is essential for this role.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our workplace by managing office procedures, supporting staff, and maintaining a productive and welcoming environment. Our office runs through a software and it is imperative that you have experience of using software's to coordinate and manager an office environment.

Key responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional and friendly manner.

Use our software to manager our staff and client queries, logging all calls, enquiries and follow ups.
Schedule staff diaries and maintenance call outs.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls. and answering our social media requests.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and projects as assigned to you.
Must be able to assist in constructing spreadsheets and excel sheets to monitor and manage the day to day running of the office.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an office manager, trade supervisor, or similar role.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and office management software.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
