Front of House Receptionist

Ferring & Abbots Lodge Dental Practice | Full Time

Some people see reception as answering the telephone and booking appointments.

We don't.

At Ferring & Abbots Lodge Dental Practice, our front of house team shapes every patient's experience. They are the first smile patients see, the reassuring voice when someone is anxious, the calm presence that keeps the day running smoothly and the people who make a busy practice feel welcoming, organised and professional.

We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in doing things properly.

You'll be naturally organised, comfortable juggling different tasks and able to think ahead rather than simply react. You'll enjoy helping people, communicate confidently and remain calm when the reception desk is busy. Most importantly, you'll be someone others can rely on.

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to answer phones. We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, notices the small details that make a big difference and wants to become an important part of a close-knit team.

Previous customer service experience is essential, and experience within a private dental or healthcare setting would be an advantage, although it's your attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn that matter most.
