Healthcare Security Manager

Salary: Up to £50,000 Per Annum

About the Role

Are you looking for a rewarding leadership position where you can genuinely make a difference to patient, visitor, and staff safety?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Security Manager to lead our Award Winning Medirest Security Team. You will lead and develop a highly skilled security workforce, ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage Healthcare Security Supervisors and Officers
Liaise confidently with clients, police, and multiple stakeholders
Support incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews
Manage rotas, payroll, appraisals, and compliance
Ensure adherence to NHS, CQC, SIA, and relevant legislative requirements
Support clinical teams with de-escalation and, where necessary, patient restraint
Oversee CCTV operations
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment across hospital grounds

About You

You will be:

Experienced in a Healthcare Environment
Passionate about patient, staff, and visitor safety
A confident leader in high-pressure healthcare environments
Skilled in communication, empathy, and verbal de-escalation
Comfortable working with vulnerable individuals and those in distress
Knowledgeable on NHS security standards, Mental Health Act, and counter-terrorism requirements
Computer literate and highly organised
Flexible to meet business needs
