Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bakery Production Manager to lead our bakery production operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensure the highest quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to crafting exceptional baked goods while optimizing processes across the supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about bakery production, process enhancement, and operational excellence.

Duties

Manage all aspects of bakery production, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing daily operations to meet quality and safety standards.
Implement and maintain efficient workflows using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP to coordinate raw materials, production schedules, and inventory management.
Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and applying continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity.
Ensure strict adherence to quality control protocols, inspecting baked goods for consistency, freshness, and compliance with safety regulations.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize ingredient procurement, inventory levels, and delivery timelines for seamless production flow.
Maintain mechanical knowledge of bakery equipment to troubleshoot issues promptly and coordinate maintenance or upgrades as needed.
Drive a culture of safety, cleanliness, and quality by conducting regular audits, staff training sessions, and fostering a proactive environment for process assembly and improvement.

Experience

Proven experience in bakery or food manufacturing production management with a strong understanding of supply chain logistics.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or other similar platforms used for inventory control and process planning.
Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement projects utilizing methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
Mechanical knowledge related to bakery equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is highly desirable.
Strong background in quality control practices within a food production environment.
Experience working with assembly processes in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is advantageous.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and implement continuous improvement strategies effectively.
