Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who thrive in fast-paced settings, demonstrating strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments securely
Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment
Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, beverages, and utensils
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service at all times

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
Proven ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving correct change
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the hospitality industry demonstrates familiarity with customer service expectations and beverage preparation techniques
