Overview
We are seeking a self-employed Taxi Driver to provide reliable and professional transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to manage your own schedule while delivering exceptional service to passengers.

Duties

Safely operate your own vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the local area.
Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during journeys.
Maintain accurate records of trips, fares, and schedules.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing assistance as needed.
Handle luggage or heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a professional driving standard at all times.
Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Experience

Prior experience in passenger transport or taxi services is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers.
Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and recognise potential mechanical issues.
Experience with heavy lifting or handling bulky items is a plus but not essential.
Valid UK driver’s licence, must have been held for 2 years minimum.
