Partnerships & Sales Lead
TrackZero | Full-time | Milton Keynes, hybrid
About us
TrackZero is carbon management software that helps organisations, from small businesses tackling compliance for the first time to global brands managing carbon across complex supply chains, measure, reduce and report carbon emissions, with UK compliance frameworks like SECR and PPN 06/21 built in. Our customers sit inside procurement teams, supply chains, and facilities operations that face growing regulatory pressure and need a straightforward way to track and prove compliance. We're a small team moving fast, and the people we hire now shape how the business runs for years.
Most of our growth won't come from cold outbound alone. It'll come from the organisations that already sit inside the networks we're trying to reach: chambers of commerce, city councils, consultants, NHS supply chain bodies, and facilities management groups. This role exists to find those organisations and turn them into a real revenue channel.
About the role
We need someone to build commercial relationships with intermediaries and turn those relationships into pipeline: signed agreements, active referral flows, joint campaigns and revenue, not one-off warm chats.
Success looks like partners sending qualified introductions on a schedule, co-marketing with us, or reselling us into their network, with the deals closed alongside the CEO and wider team.
You'll work closely with the CEO on strategy and closing, with outreach targets agreed together rather than handed down. This role suits someone comfortable owning a relationship end to end, from first outreach to closed deal.
What you'll do
- Build a target list of intermediary organisations with access to SME, procurement or compliance-driven audiences, and prioritise them by reach and commercial fit.
- Run high-volume outreach to decision-makers at those organisations: cold email, LinkedIn, phone, events, and warm introductions. Track every touch and follow up until you get a clear yes or no.
- Design partnership structures that fit each intermediary type: referral fees, co-branded campaigns, embedded distribution, reseller terms or content partnerships.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements, then manage onboarding so the partner starts sending business within weeks, not quarters.
- Own partner-sourced deals through to close, working closely with the CEO and other team members where useful, particularly on larger or more complex agreements.
- Build and run joint campaigns with live partners: webinars, email sequences, co-branded content and events that generate leads.
- Track every partner's activity and revenue contribution. Kill relationships that stall and double down on the ones that convert.
- Feed market intelligence back to the team: what objections partners raise, what messaging lands, and where the compliance and sustainability landscape is shifting.
- Work directly with the founders on partnership strategy and pricing, and represent TrackZero at industry events and in front of NHS, council, and consultancy audiences.
Who you are (qualifications)
- You've worked in a partnerships role before, building relationships that turned into pipeline, referrals or revenue, not just meetings.
- You've either worked in the sustainability or compliance space, or you've built relationships with the exact audiences we're targeting: chambers, councils, consultants, NHS-adjacent bodies or facilities management groups. One of the two is a must.
- You've carried a sales number before and closed deals, whether solo or alongside others, not just passed leads on. You know what it feels like to be behind quota with two weeks left in the quarter, and what you do about it.
- You've built partner or channel relationships and can show the pipeline or revenue they produced, not just the meetings you had.
- You treat outreach as a numbers game you can improve, not a task you dread. You send the follow-up on day three because you said you would, not because someone reminded you.
- You can read a market map and figure out who has access to the audience you want, then get a meeting with them within a week.
- You're comfortable in rooms with council procurement teams, NHS supply chain managers, and chamber directors, and you can shift your pitch for each without losing your edge.
- You want to build a partnerships function from scratch, not inherit a playbook and run it.
