Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Trainee Land Buyer to join our dynamic property acquisition team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates aspiring to develop a career in land procurement and property development. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in land evaluation, negotiation, and project management within a supportive organisational environment. A degree in a related field is required.

Duties

Assist in researching and analysing potential land acquisition opportunities in designated regions
Support the evaluation of land parcels, including site visits and data collection
Prepare and organise documentation related to land transactions and due diligence processes
Communicate effectively with internal teams, external agents, and landowners to facilitate smooth negotiations
Maintain organised records of all land acquisition activities and correspondence
Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management
Support the organisation of meetings, site inspections, and related logistical arrangements
Stay informed about relevant local planning policies, regulations, and market trends affecting land procurement

Experience

Administrative experience, computer literacy (Outlook, Microsoft Office) is required
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for liaising with diverse stakeholders
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamThis role offers a comprehensive introduction to land buying within a professional setting, fostering skills that will support future career progression in property development or related sectors.

Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
