Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, practical experience with a range of tools, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service. We use high quality materials and take the time to do higher quality installations. Most of our works is within a hour of fleet mostly local to fleet.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
Measure, cut, assemble, and fit pipes using carpentry skills where necessary.
Handle heavy lifting safely when moving equipment or materials.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults in complex systems and implement appropriate solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.
Assist with the training of apprentices or junior staff as required.

Experience

Proven experience in plumbing, heating installation, or maintenance roles within commercial or residential settings.
Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes.
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing and heating systems.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
Experience with carpentry tasks related to system fitting or repairs is advantageous.
Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving tasks is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to develop their expertise in plumbing and heating engineering within a dynamic environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
