Full job description

Job Title: Construction Office Manager (Part-Time, 9am - 3pm) Location: Tilsworth, Bedfordshire (Must have a driving licence & vehicle due to rural farm location) Salary: £15.00 - £18.50 per hour (Approx. £23,400 - £28,800 per year, depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (30 hours per week)

About Us: We are a successful, medium-sized brickwork subcontractor based in Tilsworth. We are a busy, down-to-earth team looking for an organised Office Manager to keep our administrative processes running smoothly.

The Role: You will be the backbone of our office. Key duties include answering calls, keeping track of site health & safety paperwork, and ensuring our existing industry accreditations (CHAS, Constructionline, BSI ISO 9001 and FIRAS) remain up to date. A key part of your job will be proactively chasing our site/office teams to ensure internal paperwork and processes are completed on time.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience in an administrative or office management role (construction, trades, or engineering background is highly desirable).
Familiarity or experience handling company compliance/accreditations (like CHAS or ISO 9001).
An assertive, organised personality—you need to be comfortable chasing busy site teams for paperwork!
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
