Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for organisation. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking part-time employment within a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to uphold cleanliness standards
Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust surfaces, and ensure all areas are tidy
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linen supplies
Assist with laundry duties when necessary to support overall operational efficiency

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial roles is desirable but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
Good organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial but training will be provided
Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation at all times
