Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Hotel Receptionist to join our team during daytime hours. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a vibrant hospitality environment, providing memorable experiences for our visitors. The position is paid and ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out procedures
Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using the hotel management system
Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services to guests
Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area at all times
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly
Process payments securely and issue receipts or invoices as required
Address guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to guarantee safety and security for all guests

Skills

Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse clientele
Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional attitude
Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service best practices
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve issues diplomatically
