Full job description

Flu Vaccination Nurse – 2026/27 Season

We are expanding our network for the 2026/27 season and are seeking self-employed Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join our flu vaccination campaign during October and November 2026.

Requirements:

Registered on the NMC register – RN1 or RN2
Annual training completed by 30th September 2026, including:
Flu Vaccinations
Anaphylaxis
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Previous experience in flu vaccination delivery
Full UK Driving Licence – You must be able to travel to client premises (travel expenses may be agreed on a case-by-case basis)
Comfortable with lone working – office support is available when needed

Responsibilities:

Administer flu vaccinations safely and efficiently
Provide comprehensive care, including pre-vaccination assessments and accurate documentation
Educate patients about the flu vaccine using up-to-date clinical knowledge
Maintain compliance with NMC standards

Remuneration:

£28 per hour for full-day bookings
Up to £38 per hour for shorter shifts (minimum 2 hours)

Shift allocation will depend on client locations relative to your home postcode.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: £28.00-£38.00 per hour

Experience:

Flu Immunisation: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

NMC Certification (required)
Flu Vaccination Training (required)
Basic Life Support Training (required)
Anaphlyaxis Training (required)
Driving Licence (preferred)
