Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, serve beverages efficiently, and ensure all patrons enjoy a memorable experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, contributing to the overall success of our establishment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible serving policies
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system efficiently
Restock bar supplies as needed, monitoring inventory levels regularly
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to encourage repeat visits
Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve confidently in a fast-paced environment
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
A friendly personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
