This is a zero-hour contract with a guaranteed six hours per week, plus opportunities to increase hours during key campaigns. You’ll need to be able to work a minimum of four hours per week in person with the Marketing Team in our Senate House offices.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team and Full‑Time Officers to create content, support platform management, and produce paid‑partnership posts with local and national businesses. We’re looking for someone confident both behind and in front of the camera, with great communication skills and a genuine passion for social media.
Please note: this role is open exclusively to University of Bristol students who are in active study between September 2026 and June 2027. Applications from non-UoB students will not be considered. We encourage students from all study levels to apply (Undergraduate and Postgraduate).

- Demonstrable experience in social media content creation, ideally for an organisation, company or student group.
- Confidence in approaching students and officers to get involved in content and interviews.
- A passion for social media, trends and content creation, with the ability to contribute innovative and exciting ideas to increase engagement on our channels.
- Confidence both behind and in front of the camera, with a willingness to feature in content when required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the rest of the Marketing Team and our Full-Time Officers.
