Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join our clients internal sales team. In this critical role, you will serve as the backbone of our field sales operations, providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to our field sales representatives. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the vital link between sales, customers, and internal departments.

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring our sales team operates at peak efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction, sales productivity, and overall revenue generation. You will manage the day-to-day administrative tasks that enable our sales representatives to focus on what they do best building relationships and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide dedicated administrative and operational support to assigned field sales representatives, acting as their primary point of contact for all support needs
Manage and prioritise multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Anticipate the needs of sales representatives and proactively address potential issues before they impact customer relationships or sales opportunities
Serve as a reliable partner to the sales team, ensuring they have the resources, information, and support needed to succeed in the field
Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels with professionalism and efficiency
Provide accurate product information, pricing details, and delivery timelines to customers and prospects
Route complex technical or specialized enquiries to appropriate team members while maintaining ownership of the customer experience
Follow up on outstanding customer questions and ensure timely resolution of all issues
Document all customer interactions thoroughly in the CRM system for future reference and reporting
Prepare accurate and professional sales quotations based on customer requirements and company pricing guidelines
Coordinate with product specialists, pricing teams, and sales representatives to ensure quotations reflect current offerings and competitive positioning
