Location: Rock, Wadebridge
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: 5-day week with Saturday shifts on a rota basis
Sponsorship: UK work sponsorship is not available for this role.
Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our Rock Shop in Wadebridge.

You'll help prepare fresh food to a high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen. This is a varied role in a busy environment where you'll work closely with the team to ensure products are prepared safely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

Prepare fresh hot and cold filled rolls.
Assist with preparing deli recipes.
Bake pasties and other pastries (holiday cover).
Maintain high food hygiene and quality standards.
Keep kitchen and production areas clean and organised.
Safely operate industrial ovens and kitchen equipment.
Support the wider team with other kitchen duties as required.

What We're Looking For

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Good communication skills.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Flexible to provide cover for holidays and sickness.
Reasonable level of physical fitness.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Previous food preparation experience is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided.
