- Build and develop a high-performing transport leadership team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, succession planning and continuous professional development.
- Provide strategic insight and performance reporting to senior leadership, developing KPI dashboards and using data-driven recommendations to influence operational and commercial decision-making.
- Ensure robust governance and regulatory compliance, maintaining full compliance with Operator Licence obligations, Drivers' Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and all transport legislation while embedding best practice across the operation.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience developing and implementing transport strategy within a complex, multi-site distribution environment, with accountability for commercial performance, operational transformation and business improvement.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with experience using data, KPIs and financial insight to drive network optimisation, cost reduction and service improvement.
- Demonstrable success leading change and transformation, delivering process improvements, technology adoption and operational efficiencies within a fast-paced environment.
