Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry to develop their skills in a vibrant environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and service
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and organisation
Clear tables and assist with setting up for subsequent service periods
Provide attentive guest services, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including table settings and service stations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to ensure positive guest interactions
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Experience with guest services, upselling, and working in a fast-paced environment is desirable
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
