Oaklands Farm Eggs is a family run business, producing and packing eggs. Come and join us at our egg production site, working in the packing room to help with the sorting and packing of egg on newly installed farm packer.
This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work.
.The Role; duties will include:
- Keeping the farm packer running by clearing blockages and sorting unsuitable egg and keeping it supplied with egg trays
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Following health & safety and biosecurity procedures at all times
There is an opportunity for the right candidate to take on further responsibilities, such as loading and unloading lorries using and electric pallet truck (training can be provided), completing paperwork and taking the lead in ensuring the farm packing room is efficient and that hygiene standards met. This role is rewarded with a higher rate of pay.
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be alert and responsive to ensure any stoppages are dealt with efficiently
- Be reliable, hardworking, and able to stand on your feet all day
- Be 18 years old or over
- Have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
