About the Role
Join our friendly Helsby team as a Sales Advisor and help customers make confident buying decisions while achieving sales success! You’ll be responsible for converting customer enquiries into sales across multiple channels (in-store, over the phone, and via live chat) by providing expert advice, building rapport, and using your negotiation skills.

Salary and Hours

Basic salary: £26,000 (full-time, 37.5 hours per week), pro rata for part-time hours
Uncapped commission: Realistic On-Target Earnings of £31,000+ based on performance

Hours:

Full and Part Time Available (Full-time: 37.5 hours per week/ Part-time hours available: 15 - 30 hours)
Rota-based role working 5 days out of 7 (based on full time), including regular weekend cover, on a rotating pattern (exact days will vary week to week)

What You’ll Do

Convert incoming sales enquiries across all channels – in-store, phone, email, and live chat – responding promptly, preparing quotes, and following up to maximise conversions
Handle customer finance agreements and recommend complementary products in line with company policy
Process accurate customer information and adhere to all sales team standards and procedures

Ongoing development including factory visits, brand training, and The Land of Beds Way sales training
Coaching, feedback, and support to help you consistently improve and succeed
A friendly, experienced team who want you to do well from day one.

What We’re Looking For

Sales experience in-person or over the phone.
Strong ability to follow sales processes, handle objections, and negotiate.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Strong time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Computer literate with good literacy and numeracy skills.
Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.
Detail-oriented, proactive, positive, and resilient.
Honest, trustworthy, and dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
