Full job description

SCHOOL EVENING CLEANER (TERM TIME ONLY)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive cleaning team.

We are a well established, award-winning business founded in 1998, employing over 60 colleagues. Our services include cleaning, gardening, carpet cleaning, laundry, and specialist environmental cleans.

We pride ourselves on listening to our team, offering flexible working hours, and maintaining a strong family atmosphere. We work with local businesses, so there’s no need to travel far.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to work in a school environment.

Hours: 15 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday (Term time only)
Shift: 3:30pm – 6:30pm (3 hours per day)
Location: Frome
Additional hours: Available during summer deep cleans

A DBS check is required for this role (provided by Busy Bees).

About you

Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety legislation is desirable but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning designated areas of the school
Sanitising high-touch surfaces
Vacuuming carpets and washing floors
Emptying and cleaning bins
Spot cleaning spillages
Cleaning desks, chairs, and skirting boards
Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
Cleaning doors and internal windows
Monitoring stock levels of cleaning materials
Reporting any defects or hazards to the caretaker or supervisor

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

Pay: £13.20 per hour
