Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our professional hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. A friendly, detail-oriented approach is essential to excel in this position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a welcoming environment for our guests.

Shifts will be 5 days a week over a 7 day week.

Alternate Sundays will be required.

We expect a 5 day working week to total around 25 hours per week.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to hotel standards
Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Vacuum, dust, mop, and polish floors and surfaces to maintain cleanliness
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and stored safely
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Maintain a professional appearance and friendly attitude when interacting with guests and colleagues

Experience

Training will be provided for the right candidate
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A proactive approach towards maintaining cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction

Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
