What you’ll be doing:
This is a varied, hands‑on IT role where no two days are the same. You will:
- Deliver first-line support across hardware, software, printers and user systems
- Support more complex technical issues and specialist systems
- Install, configure and maintain IT equipment and software
Work on:
- Network infrastructure (switches, TCP/IP, VoIP)
- Server environments and backups
- Disaster recovery processes
- Contribute to IT projects and continuous improvement
- Train and support users to get the best from systems
- You’ll be trusted to take ownership and make a real impact on how IT supports the business.
About you:
- You’ll be someone who enjoys both technical problem solving and helping people.
You’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems and environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A proactive, solution‑focused mindset
- Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload independently
Bonus if you have:
- IT qualification or degree
- Experience supporting infrastructure, networks, or projects
The working pattern:
- 22.5 or 26.25 hours per week, full time to cover absence of the other postholder
- Structured as a job share role
- Working hours and pattern agreed at interview stage
- Fully on‑site in Ossett
