Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic/Technician/Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on aircraft components and systems
Diagnose mechanical issues using specialised tools and techniques

Perform troubleshooting to identify root causes of mechanical failures
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
Assist with the installation of new equipment or modifications as required
Ensure work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and operational procedures during all maintenance activities

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and pneumatic tools
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Relevant certifications or licences in aircraft maintenance are preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates
