Full job description

Join our team as a Bar Staff or Glass Collector right in the city centre of Newcastle.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include serving drinks, collecting and cleaning glasses efficiently, and maintaining a clean, welcoming atmosphere. This position offers a great opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic setting that values teamwork, communication, and a positive atmosphere.

This role is perfect for individuals looking to thrive and build their confidence in hospitality within a very lively setting.

CosyJoes operates 7 days a week, with late night shifts.

A willingness to learn and become part of the team is essential.

All applicants must be 18+

Duties

Greeting guests and making any drink orders.
Serve beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service
Collect used glasses and ensure they are cleaned and returned efficiently to keep the bar area tidy
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping surfaces and restocking supplies regularly
Communicate effectively within the team
Supporting in the bar closedown after shifts.

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but by no means necessary. Full training will be provided on the job.
Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and other members of staff.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A friendly attitude with excellent serving skills and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
Willingness to learn new skills.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
