About The Role:

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working on a major Retail contract

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for capital works, PPM reactive works projects.

Using advanced Excel spreadsheets to build cost models and analyse tender returns.

Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and ensure cost accuracy.

Working closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure tenders are aligned with delivery capability.

Attending tender review meetings, contributing to bid presentations, and supporting post-tender negotiations.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market rates, materials, and labour costs across the retail maintenance sector.

Supporting the development of standard pricing libraries and continuous improvement in estimating processes.

Taking off quantities, reviewing specifications, and interpreting drawings to produce accurate pricing submissions.

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience as an Estimator within Capital, PPM, reactive maintenance, or property services.

Advanced proficiency with Excel, including data analysis, formula building, and cost modelling.

Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret specifications and tender documents.

Excellent written and numerical accuracy with strong attention to detail.

Effective communication and negotiation skills with clients and supply chain partners.

Ability to manage multiple quotes simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.

A positive, collaborative approach and a desire to develop within a reputable, forward-thinking contractor.
