Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team based out of 9 Maxim Park, Eurocentral, Motherwell, ML1 4WQ on a permanent basis. This is a full time position working 42 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12.71 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

12-hour shifts
4 on / 4 off rota
Rotating days and nights

Flexibility is required, as you may occasionally support nearby sites in Eurocentral and Bathgate.

What will you deliver?

As a Security Officer, you will help create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets across our sites.

Key responsibilities include:

Patrolling and monitoring site areas to identify and prevent risks
Controlling site access and supporting visitors
Monitoring CCTV, alarms, and security systems
Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate records
Supporting emergency situations and following procedures
Working with colleagues and external services when required

This is a key role where your professionalism and presence will help ensure safety and reassurance for everyone on site.

Essential:

A valid SIA licence
Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to stay calm and respond effectively in challenging situations
Reliability and a professional approach
Knowledge of CCTV or access control systems
A full UK driving licence

Additional information:

This is a mobile-support role across nearby sites, so some travel may be required
