Full job description

Part-Time Baker

Location: Kirkintilloch
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 10-18 hours per week
Pay: £12.71 per hour

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Baker to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and baking a range of fresh products to a consistently high standard, while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys baking, takes pride in their work, and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, mix, shape, and bake a variety of tray bakes, cakes, and other baked goods.
Follow recipes and maintain consistent quality and presentation.
Prepare ingredients and ensure stock is ready for daily production.
Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
Decorate and finish products where required.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
Clean and maintain baking equipment and work areas.
Follow health, safety, and food hygiene procedures.
Work efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have a genuine interest in baking and food.
Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Have good attention to detail.
Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Be organised and able to work in a busy environment.
Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Have previous baking or kitchen experience (preferred but not essential).
