Job Role: Office Administrator (Healthcare)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday

Location: Glasgow, G5

Salary: £20,000 - 22,000

The Company

Connect Eyecare is a family-owned, multi-award-winning optical company based in Glasgow, with practices located throughout the UK.

We are looking for a smart, energetic Office Junior to join our back-office team and become part of our growing success story.

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and work in a fast-paced environment. Our office is busy, lively, and often noisy, so you'll need to be resilient, organised, and able to work efficiently while maintaining a keen eye for detail.

In return, you'll receive full training and ongoing support from a dedicated mentor who will help you develop both personally and professionally.

Our office is conveniently located just off Junction 1A of the M74, with free parking, nearby gyms and cafés, a bus stop within a five-minute walk, and a train station approximately 15 minutes away on foot.

What We're Looking For

Fast learner with a positive attitude
Coachable and eager to develop new skills
Excellent telephone manner with an enthusiastic and engaging approach
Ability to commute easily to our Glasgow (G5) office
Adaptable and flexible approach to work
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and organisational skills

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Making and receiving telephone calls with care home partners and customers
Providing administrative support to the wider team
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
Assisting with day-to-day office tasks
Supporting colleagues with various operational activities as required

Desirable Skills

Experience using the Salesforce platform
Full UK driving licence
