Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper/Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting administrative functions.. Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims
- Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence management
- Prepare and send invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain organised financial documentation
- Collaborate with external accountants during audits or financial reviews
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general bookkeeping principles
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in administration or bookkeeping roles is desirable but not essential
