Full job description

Glossop (SK13 6JF)

We are a family-owned business with many years of experience in the motor trade, and we are proud to have recently opened our new dealership in Glossop, SK13 6JF.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Detailer / Valeter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, polishing, and preparing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every vehicle is presented in immaculate showroom condition.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, polish, and vacuum vehicles inside and out
Carry out full interior and exterior detailing
Apply wax, sealants, and protective coatings
Remove stains, odours, and minor paint imperfections
Prepare new and used vehicles for customer delivery
Clean wheels, tyres, windows, and mirrors
Conduct final quality inspections
Safely move vehicles around the site when required
Report any damage or maintenance issues
Maintain cleaning tools and work areas

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in vehicle detailing or valeting is essential
Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and well organised
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
Full UK driving licence is preferred

Desirable Experience

Machine polishing and paint correction
Ceramic coating application
Experience working with premium or luxury vehicles
