The Role: Complex Care Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £15.00 per hour, increasing to £15.50 per hour once competent.
Location: Glossop, SK13

Contract Type: Permanent, with immediate start available.
We offer the below contract options:
Part Time – 25 hours

Shift Pattern:

Days: 3 x 5 hours (Times to be confirmed)
Nights: 1 x 10 hours (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

DBS: Preferred / update service desirable

Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred.

Right to Work: The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

It's important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there is also the potential to work across various packages within the area.

Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a young person’s life?

·You will be providing night time support to a bubbly young boy with Pierre Robin Syndrome, supporting him with his care needs over night time as well as supporting his needs whilst at nursery.
Support includes moving and handling, personal care, PEG care, tracheostomy care, and other complex care duties.
Our clients really look forward to meeting their new carers and cannot wait to introduce themselves if you successfully progress to the meet and greet stage.
He loves cuddles with his family, noisy toys with sounds, and being involved in what is going on around him — he also especially enjoys The Gruffalo and Zog.
You will play an important role in supporting him to achieve the best possible quality of life by providing compassionate, person-centred care. He is very much looking forward to meeting his new support worker.

Training:

At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.

To be considered for this position, you will need:

A passion for care

Flexible availability.
Be able to work waking nights and alternate weekends.
A current DBS if possible (paper or update service).
A driving license (Preferred).
