Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced freelance administrator to join our friendly team. Duties will include organising and responding to emails and voicemails, overseeing the online booking system for yoga classes and workshops (including setting up events, pricing and pay), updating the calendar and ensuring that all administrative systems are workable and use-friendly.

Hereford Yoga is a small charity based in central Hereford. Hours are flexible but should be spread across the week. Minimum hours 3 per week, but some extra hours may be requested on an ad-hoc basis as available. Work from home with monthly meetings at Hereford Yoga Centre (or occasionally online). The administrator will work closely with the managing director and marketing co-ordinator. The successful candidate will have experience of efficiently administrating a small business/charity and will have excellent time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deal with booking system (currently Vagaro) including setting up events, pricing, pay
Respond to enquiries (via email and voicemail)
Keep calendar up to date (meetings/workshops/events)
Ensure that administrative systems are workable and user-friendly
Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative workflows and improve overall office efficiency

Skills

Essential:

-Excellent IT skills

-Experience in using online booking systems

-Excellent time management

-Clear communication skills (including written)

-Able to work independently

Preferable:

-Interest in/experience of Iyengar yoga
