Summary of Role:

Job title: Production Assistant

Department: Production

Based: Gloucester Production Facility

Full time contract - 38 ¾ hours p/wk

(Monday – Thursday, 7.45am – 4.30pm)

(Friday, 7.45am – 1.30pm)

Role Details:

Style and raw material code creation on range plan, ERP and our manufacturing system.
Production order creation in ERP
Use our manufacturing system to import, check and process orders. 
Assist the Senior Production Co-ordinator in monitoring and raising cutting orders to be manufactured both in-house and by 3rd party suppliers.
Assist the Production Co-ordinator in monitoring the progress of all open production orders
In association with the Production Co-ordinator, ensure that vendors receive all raw materials and packaging on time in full.
Raise a weekly (shirt and tie) cloth to-order report and raise purchase orders with suppliers. 
Generate weekly production reports and send to our wider Merchandising & Production team.
 In association with the Production Co-ordinator, arrange DC booking references to factories for all shipments, and maintain/ close open orders on the ERP system.
Liaise with our cutting team to set up new cloths ready to cut on our automatic cutting machine.
Set up, check, and publish RTW cutting orders, ready to be cut on our automatic cutting machine.
Organise and create cutting orders for bespoke linings to be cut on automatic cutting machine

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics.

Enthusiastic about menswear.
Organised with excellent communication skills.
A team player who will build strong relationships with longstanding and new Vendors.
Excellent attention to detail.
A willingness to travel to vendors and offices within the UK and overseas as required.
Experience of using Microsoft Excel beneficial but not essential

Pay: £26,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
