Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team at Chuck Burger. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering excellent service to our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in culinary arts and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a vibrant dining environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of burger dishes and accompanying menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in the development of new menu items and specials to enhance customer experience
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
Serve food to customers efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in meal preparation and culinary techniques suitable for fast-paced settings
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in burger or casual dining establishments
