Job Introduction

40 hours per week
Monday-Friday
2 weekly Shift Rotation of week 1 07:00 - 15:30, week 2 10:30 - 19:00
£13.45 per hour

Facilities Assistant - Cambridge CB2 0AA - Permanent Full Time

What you’ll do:

Deliver a professional 5-star customer service experience across the site
Ensuring Tea and Coffee Machines are stocked and operational
Loading/Unloading dishwashers
Monitor consumables - eg dishwasher tablets/Tea/Coffee/Milk within your operational area and notify supervisor of ordering requirements
Monitor and set temperature controls on refrigerators
Reporting of faulty equipment to supervisor
Maintain high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, waste management, and reactive cleaning (such as liaising with cleaning team regarding spills)
Report faults, incidents, customer feedback, and safety concerns while working collaboratively with onsite teams.

What you bring:

Previous experience within customer service, facilities management, hospitality, or a workplace support environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and respond positively in a fast-paced environment.
Proven ability to deliver high standards of customer care while maintaining service quality and operational efficiency.
Knowledge of COSHH, health & safety, or facilities-related procedures is desirable; relevant training or qualifications would be an advantage.
