Full job description

SM & AS Brankley are looking for energetic, reliable and hard-working local workers to join our friendly and multicultural team.

Seasonal, temporary or permanent roles available.

We grow premium lettuce crops for major UK supermarkets and are looking for motivated people who enjoy practical, physical work and working as part of a team.

Main Duties

Cutting and harvesting lettuce
Planting young crops
Greenhouse work
General physical farm duties
Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards

What We’re Looking For

Good attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow instructions carefully
Comfortable with physical outdoor and greenhouse work
Able to work at pace while maintaining quality standards

Basic English language skills are sufficient, as training can be provided through demonstration and practical instruction.

Pay & Hours

Starting pay at National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage
Pay increases with experience and performance
Overtime frequently available, especially during summer months
Overtime paid at 150% rate

About the Role

This is physically demanding work and can involve:

Long periods standing
Repetitive tasks
Working in warm greenhouse conditions
Early starts during busy periods
