Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Previous bar work experience is a necessity.

Duties

Taking orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Serving food and beverages with professionalism and courtesy
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of tables, bar area, and service stations
Upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Handling payments accurately both electronically and cash based.
Providing excellent guest service by addressing questions and special requests
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Managing multiple tables or bar stations during busy periods with effective time management
Supporting team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is advantageous
Knowledge of food safety standards
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy hours
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Familiarity with serving procedures, food safety regulations preferred
Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
