About the role

Becoming a Warehouse Operative opens up incredible career possibilities - itâ€™s how many of our managers started out. To succeed as a Warehouse Operative youâ€™ll be someone who can put people at the heart of everything you do, building relationships with your team and acting quickly to help our customers. This is a hands-on job for people who enjoy tackling big challenges as part of a team, who like to stay active and who love to see their work make a visible difference.

You donâ€™t need any previous experience in working in a warehouse. Weâ€™ll make sure youâ€™re fully trained.

A day in the life at our Packaged Distribution Centre;

A day in the life at our Fresh Distribution Centre;

You will be responsible for

Â·Having a key role in supporting our store colleagues by making sure orders are assembled accurately

Â·Picking and manually handling stock

Â·Maintaining a clear and tidy warehouse and ensure any potential hazards are taken care of safely, quickly and efficiently.

Â·Making sure stock is received, stored, packed and transported according to the highest standards

Â·Taking ownership for your own and others safety whilst at work

Â·Using tools provided and training material provided efficiently

Â·Using your Mechanical Handling Equipment efficiently

Â·Working both independently and as part of a team

You will need

Â·A driven and keen attitude to learn new skills as well as thriving whilst working in an encouraging team.

Location: Goole, DN14 8GA

Own transport preferred

We currently have the following Full Time shift available:

Rotation Shift: one week 06:00am - 14:00pm, second week 14:00pm - 22:00pm any 5 days out of 7 (37.5hrs per week including some weekend work)

*Please note we are unable to offer Fixed AM shifts*

Pay:

£15.24 per hour
Overtime, weekend premiums & additional enhancements available

Performance Bonus:

88%+ = +£0.30 per hour
92%+ = +£0.60 per hour
99%+ = +£1.00 per hour

Zeelo Bus:

From £2 per ride
Routes from Hull, multiple stops, on‑site drop‑off
Timetables aligned to shifts, guaranteed daily seat

*Please note the Zeelo bus timetable aligns to our Rotation shift only*

Plus there are additional overtime and premiums payments available on top.
