Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness . This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment. Prior experience in cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking full-time or part-time employment.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
Maintain the organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security during cleaning duties
Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment effectively to achieve optimal results

Experience

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous
Experience working in hospital environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
Willingness to undertake training programmes to enhance skills and knowledge
