Full job description

Are you willing to learn, able to think as part of a team and good at working to deadlines? Proactive Publications, a leading B2B publishing company based in Gorleston, Norfolk, is currently seeking a passionate, creative and dedicated Feature Writer to join our busy Editorial Department office here in Gorleston.

The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Have a good attention to written detail.

· Be able to write engaging and informative company profiles.

· University education preferred, or A-Level English as a minimum.

· Confident communication skills, especially when engaging with customers.

· Good admin and file management skills.

· Web and media skills are not essential, but would be a bonus.

Starting job duties to include:

· Writing company profiles, following our detailed house style.

· Preparing questions and conducting interviews with clients.

· Processing press releases and creating written content for our magazines or websites.

· Editing the written work from other members of the Editorial Team.

Training is offered, but we are looking for a candidate with good writing skills and a solid understanding of grammar.

This is an on-site post only, with the potential for a hybrid working schedule that must include multiple days in the office and can be agreed after the probationary period. Hours Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:00. Friday 7:30-11:30 (36 hour week). Salary £24,000
