akm retail solutions ltd is a full-service interior design firm located in Carluke We are a growing company with a proven track record of success in the interior design industry. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the art of painting and has a desire to grow with us.

Job Description

Painting of interior spaces, including: walls, flooring, furniture, fixtures, etc.
Preparing for painting (cleaning, organizing, etc.)
Application of paint (e.g., base coat, color coat, glossiness, etc.)
Removal of paint (e.g., stains, water marks, etc.)
Application of finish (e.g., base coat, color coat, glossiness, etc.)
Removal of finish (e.g., base coat, color coat, glossiness, etc.)
Application of custom molding (e.g., molding) and or trim (e.g., trim molding)
Ames taping experience essential.
paint spraying experience an advantage.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years related experience preferred but not required if interested in joining our team
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently with the ability to think creatively and creatively problem solve when necessary to meet deadlines in order to meet our high standards in quality and service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

painting: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

CSCS (preferred)
Driving Licence (required)
