The Role:

Oseyo will soon land in Newcastle upon Tyne with an authentic K-shopping experience. We are seeking a passionate and responsible individual to lead our Produce Department in this brand-new branch, delivering outstanding fresh produce standards and a welcoming customer experience.

Day-to-Day Duties Include:

Ensure all produce products consistently meet freshness, quality, and food safety standards through regular quality inspections and compliance checks.
Maintain visually appealing, fully stocked produce displays in accordance with merchandising standards and First-In-First-Out stock rotation principles.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation across the Produce Department.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product ordering to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and stock loss.
Support the sourcing and evaluation of vendors and suppliers to ensure product quality, availability, and commercial competitiveness, while maintaining strong professional supplier relationships.
Implement seasonal, promotional, and marketing displays in line with company guidelines and business objectives.
Analyse sales performance and customer demand trends to optimise stock ordering and product availability.
Minimize shrinkage through effective inventory management, stock control procedures, and waste reduction initiatives.
Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular stock takes and audit activities.
Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming shopping environment and resolving customer queries or complaints professionally and efficiently.
Support and guide team members in providing product knowledge, recommendations, and high service standards to customers.
Supervise, train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve departmental targets.
Manage team scheduling, attendance, and daily workforce allocation.
Safely lift and move items weighing up to 23kg on a regular basis as part of stocking, merchandising, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
9 hours per day (including 1 hour break time); 5 days a week
