We’re looking for Electrical Engineers to join us as Academic Instructors , helping to train and develop the next generation of engineers supporting the UK’s defence capability as part of Project Selborne – more details here: Royal Navy education & training Selborne | Careers at Capita

No teaching experience needed Full instructor training provided Achieve a Level 3 Instructional Qualification

Who we’re looking for

We welcome applications from:

Graduate Electrical Engineers
Time‑served electricians or electrical engineers
Engineers from industrial, manufacturing, defence, utilities, or maintenance backgrounds

If you can explain electrical principles clearly and want to pass on your knowledge, we can train you for the rest.

This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
